It’s October so you know that that means, right? Yes, it’s also Socktober time!
Student Congress is hosting the event for a third year, meaning new socks will be collected on a table outside the main office at the Middle School. The goal is 600 pairs of socks.
If we reach our goal, Principal Butt will wear Bills gear for the entire month of November, which is a big deal for an Eagles fan like Mr. Butt! Three years ago, this project brought in 747 pairs of socks and last year, it was 628.
The goal is to set an all-time record for socks collected but no matter how many are collected, they’ll all be donated to the Open Door Mission.
