The Gananda Central School District Budget Report is available for review below. Due to the anticipated fiscal difficulties, the budget presented focuses on solely maintaining the current programs and services. It does not expand or reduce any programs. At the elementary school it maintains class sizes of 15-20 in Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd grade, and classes of 18-24 in grades 3-5. At the high school it included the traditional Regents classes and 41 classes in which students can earn college credits. The middle school budget maintains the current structure while matching staffing to enrollment changes. The budget also maintains extra-curricular sports, performing arts and visual arts at the same level. The total proposed budget is $24,576,817, or a 0.9% increase from last year. Additional information can also be found on our Business Office webpage.
